Nancy Townsend Cawdrey has painted in a variety of media for more than 30 yeats, with early study in France and England followed by years of painting in northwestern Montana. She has studied with noted plein air artist R. S. Riddick, Kevin MacPherson, Linda Tippetts and Joe Abbrescia. Nancy continues to explore plein air oil and watercolor painting. Her recent works feature dramatic color painted on silk. The rodeo silk series captures new brilliance and color of the bronco ride.

Her award winning work is exhibited in private and corporate collections across the country and Europe. Nancy lives with her family in Montana.
